Ranked Choice Voting - Lunch & Learn Recording

On Saturday, February 28, we held a ranked choice voting (RCV) lunch & learn session on Zoom. According to the DC Board of Elections, RCV is "a voting method that allows voters to rank candidates in order of their preference. In DC, RCV is used in eligible contests with three (3) or more candidates, and voters may rank up to five (5) candidates, including write-in candidates. RCV allows your vote to count towards another candidate if your first-choice candidate does not receive enough votes."


RCV can be confusing; this lunch and learn session was meant to familiarize voters with RCV ballots and common mistakes. Check out the recording:
