Trash & Beautification Committee

Greetings! I'm Commissioner Anna Roblin, and I'm the Chair of 5D's Trash and Beautification Committee. Commissioner Charquinta McCray is the Vice Chair.

If you have any kind of issues with trash or any ideas for improving the beauty of our neighborhoods, please don't hesitate to contact us!

Please let us know if you'd like to join either the cleanup or beautification groups, or both. We are doing a lot of good work in the neighborhoods of 5D, and we'd love to have you join us!

Collaborations & City Resources

If you have concerns about a particular area, please contact us and we can schedule a walk with the Mayor's Office of the Clean City, the Department of Buildings (DOB), and the Department of Public Works (DPW) to identify illegal dumping hotspots, unresolved 311 concerns, and areas for potential beautification projects (tree boxes, gardens, food forests, etc.).

Cleanup Tips

Interested in borrowing cleanup tools from ANC 5D?

Tools available:

  • Leaf blower

  • Hedge trimmer

  • Trash pickers

  • Large garbage bags

  • Rakes

  • Brooms

  • Dustpan

You can borrow these tools for the day; they must be returned later the same day. You must leave either a copy of your ID or driver's license or a $20 bill upon pickup and you will receive it back upon return of the tools.

Contact your local Commissioner or Comms. Roblin or McCray for pickup and drop-off.

If you would like to schedule and lead your own cleanup, contact us. If you'd like to borrow the tools, we can work to make sure the tools are available and add the cleanup to the calendar so others can join.
